Lumificient Corporation is a Nexxus Lighting Company, (NASDAQ: NEXS) The mission of Lumificient is to utilize and advance solid state lighting/LED technologies and develop cost effective, highly efficient and superior illumination products and systems in support of the Sign and Display Industry and for Commercial lighting applications.
Lumificient Corporation was founded in 2000
and provided the first patented LED
illumination solution to the Sign Industry, HYPERION R-Lite™. Lumificient is noted for offering the leading SIGN illumination system based upon superior design, performance, even illumination, ease of use, and true energy savings. Today, the versatility of the R-Lite system is now being utilized for display case, cabinet, cove, under/over cabinet, light box, and accent lighting applications.
In May 2008, Lumificient Corporation was acquired by Nexxus Lighting, Inc. headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina USA. The vision of Nexxus Lighting is to connect advanced technology with light for customers around the world. The founder of Lumificient Corporation, Zdenko Grajcar, a recognized innovator within LED illumination, is the Chief Technology Officer for Nexxus Lighting. Mr. Grajcar is responsible for all research and product development activities for all Nexxus Lighting companies, including Lumificient.
Lumificient Corporation is located in Maple Grove, Minnesota and is a designer and manufacturer of solid state lighting/LED illumination solutions for the Sign and Display industry and for commercial and residential applications. Lumificient creates innovative solutions that provide ease of use, even illumination, while offering superior energy savings when compared to alternative products.

HYPERION R-Lite System™ introduced in 2000 continues to be one of the most innovative LED illumination systems in the marketplace. With its flexible adhesive backed carrier strip, evenly placed and “replaceable” LED modules, even illumination, ease of install, backwards compatibility, and superior energy savings; this system continues to grow in its popularity and its uses.
Hyperion R2 System™ (coming soon) will provide customers with a high intensity White LED system for use in extra-large channel letters and other general illumination projects. The HYPERION R2 system is the larger 1-Watt version of the HYPERION R-Lite™. It is built with the same principle as R-Lite, with adhesive backing along the entire carrier strip, larger replaceable modules, and superior energy savings. Its unique thermal management design provides for passive thermal management and ACTIVE thermal management whereby each module can self protect it from the potential damage that heat can cause.
LUMEON 360 System™ is our LED based Border Accent Tube, often utilized to outline the building for restaurants, other retail establishments, or for various accent needs. LUMEON 360™ is the only Border Tube on the market that truly emulates neon, as it offers a similar profile and a true 360 degree glow.
