The name of Lumificient Corporation was born from the phrase “ILLUMINATING EFFICIENTLY”. The mission of our company is to utilize and advance Solid State Lighting technologies to develop cost effective, highly efficient and superior illumination products and systems to meet the current and future needs or our customers, within the targeted markets we serve. In developing these products and systems, we strive to create innovative solutions that are also easy to use that are truly energy efficient and require very limited ongoing maintenance.We are a manufacturing and distribution firm that designs and develops solid state lighting or LED illumination solutions for the Sign Industry and general illumination solutions for Retail, Commercial, Hospitality and Residential applications. We additionally continually explore illumination needs within other markets, such as the Pool and Spa industry. Lumificient is headquartered in Maple Grove, Minnesota and has manufacturing operations in Minnesota, China and Czech Republic. We conduct our research, product development, testing, assembly, warehousing, and distribution activities in our Minnesota facility. We sell our products through a direct sales force currently covering four regions including the West Coast, two Midwest Regions, and the Northeast. A majority of our customers are in North America, including Canada. We also have developed one Distributor in Europe and are in the process of rolling out an International Distribution program, base upon significant and consistent inquiries.
Lumificient Corporation was founded in 2000 with the intention of developing a channel letter and Sign illumination system using Solid State Lighting technologies that would be superior to neon based systems in energy efficiency, ease of installation and ongoing maintenance. The result of these initial efforts is our patented HYPERION R-Lite System™ which was introduced in 2000 and is still regarded as the most innovative system on the market. Lumificient was one of three original companies to develop a patented product that was directly aimed for the Sign Industry, considered an early adopter of LED illumination. Today, we are recognized as an established innovator within this industry.
Upon seeing the innovation of our HYPERION R-Lite System™, our customers soon began to ask that we develop added products to address opportunities for additional illumination projects. In response to customer demand, we developed the LUMEON 360 System™ to provide an accent light tube that imitates the look of neon better than any existing product on the market today.
We continue to develop and introduce new innovative products to meet the needs of our customers. Our newly released Hyperion R2 System™ will provide our customers a high intensity White LED system for use in extra-large channel letters (for example: ten to twenty foot letters on high rise buildings) and other general illumination projects. The Hyperion R2 System™ is the only system in the world that is self protecting from heat with its passive and active thermal management design. This design protects the investment made in a large Sign that is many stories up in the air, leading to a longer duration for the sign and substantially less maintenance costs. As with our other illumination solutions, this system offers substantial advantages over current offerings in the marketplace.
